More plans

Man, it seems like every time I turn around, I think of (or am politely reminded of) another thing I want to do while recuperating.

*clean my room (yup, just like an 8 year-old would)
*clear off my dresser
*help Bob with his house
*practice my sign language

So much to do, and I'm not sure how much of it will really get done.... Oh well, as long as I really try to do most of it. I'm sure that Ben would appreciate me at least clearing out my side of the room so it looks decent.

I could probably also donate some clothing. I'm sure there are clothes in my closet (and/or dresser) now that have not been worn in a year. That's pretty much my rule these days. If I can't remember wearing it in the last year, it's gone, baby.

This is Aunt Sher.

Planning on This End

Bring you walking shoes cuz we're goona see the sights of the Lahey Clinic while you're in town. Fortunately, it is easy to get around and well marked. I'll go up with you on Friday, but after that you'll probably be on your own - except for the 28th. They're already starting to charge me rent when I go there! The parking valet and I are on a first-name basis. If I have to break in one more doc, I'll scream. Now I have to meet with the dietician - they shoulda thought about that 30 pounds ago. Seriously, unless she can made food taste like food and make it easier to make AND chew, she'll be wasting her time. I've me Becky before - very nice, but insists that the world lives on good food in small portions! Typical dietician. Jennie will get to enjoy the thrill of Rte. 128 just outside of Boston. Not for the faint of heart. I remember my first experience on Rt. 128 - I thought for sure we were going to be killed. Now, I navigate it with ease. It's Boston drivers at their VERY worst.

So, I'll be teaching JJ how to knit hats - maybe even a shawl. Maybe I can finish some of my projects while she's here and we're both attempting to recover.

Wish me luck - she swoops in on Thursday afternoon. I guess I'm going to have to think about food - she'll probably expect to be fed while she's here. Darn! I'm giving her a bed - what more does she want?

Lord, help me!
